Interestingly but perhaps not surprisingly, the DNA of a caterpillar is identical to the DNA of its corresponding butterfly. The caterpillar contains all of what will become the butterfly, yet the caterpillar breaks down into a caterpillar soup which forms into a butterfly. It really is an amazing thing.
