Its a scam just like every crypto.
They hype it up, early adopters buy big and help spread the hype, then late adopters pay higher prices than the earlier adopters because of how the crypto market works (its basically the stock market for CS:GO players and Youtube Hipsters).
Then the early adopters sell at a much higher price because of late adopters, and the late adopters are left with a negative value on their purchases, thus being the fools of the scam.
Its not tied to anything real, so no one is going to buy in after the scam has been played unless the initial late adopters become the hype spreaders in an attempt to recoup funds, otherwise it gets left dead in the water the same as every other cryptocurrency that isn’t the big few.
Cryptocurrencies are never going to be mass adopted, similar to how the Metaverse was a gigantic flop following a massive advertising campaign and repranding of Facebook (the Metaverse being tied to its own crypto scam, and powered by the single worst development team on the planet).
