What would happen if we could zoom in with a microscope infinitely? Would we keep seeing more detail or is there a ‘cut off’ where we can’t see any more detail?

Can just be simplified that you can’t see anything below an atom since wavelengths of light are reflected/produced by electrons falling into lower energy states and releasing the energy as a single ‘packet’ (quanta) of light.
At least from my basic understanding
