What’re the differences between bitter, tangy, sour and tart?

Please like why is there 4 different words for other things that are “sour”??

Bitter is the taste of poison. Caffeine, grapefruit pith, liquid medicines with Tylenol in them, and burnt foods taste bitter.

Sour, tart, and tangy are different ways of describing the taste of acid. Lemon juice, vinegar, yogurt, and cream of tartar all have acids in them that you can taste.
