What’s ETL, EDW and what does legacy data systems mean and how are they different from Modern Data platforms?

ETL: extract transform load => you read someone else’s notes change them into the format you usually keep your notes, then you save them in your format.
Edw: enterprise data warehouse. You keep everyone’s notes here so you can take a look at what happened in the future. Kinda like the warehouse at the end of Indiana Jones and the ark.
The difference between legacy and modern data systems is pretty much when they were built. Modern systems tend to be optimized more and have more options.
