What’s the difference between jogging in place and jogging normally? Are they equally beneficial for the body?

Depends how hard you work but generally it is better to jog normally. While jogging in place you are using enough energy to move your weight up and down. While jogging normally your body is still moving up and down but now you also need energy to move forwards too.
