When a heart stops, doctors can work to revive it. Why is it not scientifically possible to revive a brain?

Every cell in your body requires certain things to function. Once one of those things is no longer present, the cells die. Unlike other cells, brain cells don’t grow back, so once those cells die, that part of the brain ceases to function. There are crazy cases where people lose half their brain and can still function, because some parts of the brain will take up responsibilities of the parts that are gone, but quite often the damage is widespread.
