I don’t think anyone has answered OPs question yet. If they are asking about the last pee that you can squeeze out after you are done peeing, that’s simply the pee left in your urethra that you squeeze out using muscles around it rather than the muscles in your bladder like the rest of the pee.

Net-new pee is constantly getting made. I had a theory that if you slowly, constantly drink a lot of water, you can create a near-constant stream of unlimited piss. The only reason this doesn’t happen is because people have jobs, families, and better things to do than trying to piss forever.

For men this is because it’s not coming from the bladder but instead is coming from the urethra.

In men the urethra runs down from the bladder under the penis and then back up. This means that when men pee there is usually some urine stuck in that part of the urethra that goes down below the penis. It usually requires a few extra shakes or squeezing of muscles to get it out and is why a lot of men end up with a wet spot in the front of their pants after putting their penis back. This is because the act of putting it back can cause the urethra to line up with the penis and leak the last bit of urine out.

If you keep pushing until you are dry and then you push more, you would experience a strong pain in you kidneys (at least this happens to me if I try)

No one is citing their sources so I’m just going to make up that your bladder never really empties like a deflated balloon still has a little volume and that volume might be larger if the balloon was recently very full.

The opening of some people’s bladder is more narrow than others so they may need to strain a bit to push it open.

I think of it like a gogurt. You can try and eat it all. But then if you want, you can give it that extra squeeze from the bottom up and get everything.
