It doesn’t go anywhere – it’s all in there. Your diet generally contains more liquid components than solid ones (otherwise you’ll have other problems to worry about) and the digestion process initially even adds more.
The whole job of your lower intestines is to filter out all the liquids and nutrients dissolved in them from the initial slurry that gets passed on from your stomach. If that function is inhibited by an illness then the slurry passes through in its original form.
