Where did the first quarks come from during the formation of the universe?

We don’t know, this is still a big mystery for physics.

We know that matter, quark matter included, can be made from concentrated energy. But the issue is this has always produced antimatter along with the matter for us, so the question physics still has unanswered is where did the antimatter go? Or is there some other way of making matter that we still have not unlocked.
