If you look closely in the hour before it rains, you’ll see a lot of nature “close shop”. They know it’s coming. All the animals seek shelter, a lot of plants will close their petals and turn down their leaves. Bugs can get wet, they just don’t usually swim well. So they hide in places like the inside of flowers, the underside of plants, cracks in the bark, etc. As long as they don’t get swept away, it’s really all they need.
