It’s mostly the same, except that the concentration of oxygen, nicotine, and some other products is lower in the smoke you exhale and the CO2 concentration would be higher.

Some of the nicotine, and other tobacco burining byproducts will get abosorbed into your blood at a molecular level while the smoke is in your lungs, same goes for part of the oxygen, and the inverse for CO2. The stuff that makes smoke visible are small suspended soot and combustion product particles, they themselves are generally too large to diffuse into your blood stream, and just stay in the smoke
