Not a scientific view but my own, very personnal interpretation of why I throw up when I’ve got a migraine.
I feel like my body thinks that something’s not right at all, and does everything it can to fix it, whatever the problem. Almost every migraine I get tends to come with a slight fever, with exhaustion, some dizziness, and overall uneasyness. It turns out one of the simplest thing to purge in a human body is the guts. Although I don’t throw up very often, every time I do I immedaiately feel a bit better, like if my body crossed the “ate something bad” from the suspect list.
Usualy, the pain goes away after a good night’s sleep.
