Why are blue/black/grey colors the primary colors used in fashion (usually men’s) and other aesthetics?

Most men’s colors are blue/black, especially men’s suits. Blue jeans are, well, blue. I was watching the news earlier, and everyone’s suit was a shade of blue.

Most new cars are usually dark, with maybe a few white ones sprinkled in.

Why are there no wholesale yellows or greens anywhere?

These are subject to fashion and trends. It changes over time (especially car colors).

Men’s suit fashions change much more slowly because a blue or black suit is pretty much required in certain settings as a matter of dress code. And it got that way because in a structured wool suit, it’s a flattering look for a doughy old white guy.

Put that same guy in a tan or light green suit with less structure and he’ll look like Jabba the Hutt.
