Why are cars made to be able to steer the front wheels instead of the wheels at the back?

Steering with front wheels allows you to more easily see the part of the car moving into the turn. Steering from the rear would be more like drifting into a turn.

You can visually see this using a tv remote or your phone. As you move it forward pivot the front into the turn first. This is like your car. Then pivot from the rear into a turn and look how it’s like a drift, and would be much harder not to hit things with the rear unless you had an owl neck.
