why are cheap t-shirts always 10% polyester? Do they save all that much by sparing 10% of cotton?

Not sure that they have the 10% polyester “because they’re cheap.” – – In my experience (I’ve never researched it), 100% cotton shirts wear and fade faster than those with a percentage of polyester. – Plus, polyester can be made in so many ways. Under armor can charge $80 for an item of clothing made of 100% polyester (and people pay it).
