I heard of a possible origin that hasn’t been mentioned yet.
Some artist had a beautiful wife and one day the wife bended over before him naked, and he liked that shape so much, that he created the heart shape.
It might just be some urban legend, but since the other answers are also speculations, I think this is equally likely to be true
