Why are laptop batteries so much more durable than phone batteries?

I get that the battery is probably like 10 times bigger, but we all hear the

“Don’t use your phone while it’s charging that’ll ruin it!”

But I’ve never once in my life heard the

“Your laptop’s battery will be ruined if you use it while its charging!”

Please keep in mind I don’t know much about technology so bear with me

Not using your phone while charging is old outdated advice. We were using different batteries back then and even so it really wasn’t that big of a deal. Use your phone any way you want.
