Why are laptop batteries so much more durable than phone batteries?

I get that the battery is probably like 10 times bigger, but we all hear the

“Don’t use your phone while it’s charging that’ll ruin it!”

But I’ve never once in my life heard the

“Your laptop’s battery will be ruined if you use it while its charging!”

Please keep in mind I don’t know much about technology so bear with me

The primary argument against using a phone while charging is extra heat which can be bad for the battery and other phone components.

Laptops in general have much better means of dispersing heat than phones do, like fans that kick on when heat is excessive.

I personally wouldn’t play games on a phone while charging, but do talk or text on a charging phone, I wouldn’t however if the phone was becoming noticeably warmer.
