Why are laxatives, and only laxatives, sold in chocolate form?

I can understand needing to keep medicine bitter so that you know it’s medicine and don’t abuse it, and I can also understand wanting to make medicine taste good so that it’s not as difficult to take. So why are most medicines sold as pills or syrups that taste awful, but laxatives are sold in candy form? Why cover laxatives in chocolate but not, like, amoxicillin or Zyrtec?

The main factor is the toxicity. It’s hard to ingest a toxic amount of laxative, specifically as your body is going to do its darndest to push the laxative, and everything else you’ve ingested, out. This is it’s intended purpose overall, so it’s not a problem to make it taste good.

Most other medicines, however, do have an element of toxicity. Take too much, and it will sicken and poison your body, perhaps even causing organ failures. Making them taste good would be a problem, since some people, especially young kids, might not know better.
