why are most landmasses structured to have their southern end narrower and pointier?

All,

Looking at India, Africa and South America, they all have narrower and pointier southern ends in their landmasses. North America also has a similar structure but it’s connected to central america, so it doesn’t get pointed out.

Is there any geological reason for this?

Was curious about this same question, and as far as I’m aware and was able to find out, it’s completely a coincidence.

I did find out it’s generally believed that Earth’s magnetic field has been reversed from how it is now at varying times in the distant past so that’s cool (though why or exactly how is up for debate among people way more qualified than me).
