Nvidia makes GPUs. GPUs are special processors good at some things. One of those things is Matrix multiply. “AI” is almost exclusively matrix multiply. They have doubled down on this with special matrix multiply cores called tensor cores.
Intel makes CPUs. They arent as good at matrix multiply. Intel also pretends to make GPUs, but they are still years behind.
ARM is a technology for cpus, not a company. You might be thinking of AMD, a company that actually makes both CPUs anD GPUs. They have also seen a stock increase, but they jist arent as dominant in the GPU market as Nvidia.
Its all just matrix multiply. you can run it on a Commodore 64 of you want (provided you have external storage), but when you want to run it at scale, its all about speed and power efficiency. which right now means a GPU, which means probably Nvidia.
