Your brain is symmetrical, but it is not symmetrical in function. You have different centres of the brain in different areas which will connect more strongly to the opposite side of the body.

Its because most of the item and method of tool usage is fine-tuned for a dominant right hand. When a parent is teaching their child, such as guiding their hand to draw or write, they are usually guiding it with their right hand.

If a person grey up not knowing their right hand should be “dominant” they will gain ambidexterity.
