As I understand it, making a video of yourself operating a device is considered a different type of copyright usage, so it isn’t that same thing as making a copy of a video or an album. The addition of the person operating the device and their commentary makes the resulting video a distinct original work.

Probably the game companies could sue but it would be a tougher argument than straight up copying.
