Why are the fertility rates lower in developed countries?

They are in a better position to sustain that population compared to less developed countries then why are they rapidly aging?

because developed countries have better access to birth controll and birth medical care, where as developing nations dont and are also trying to combat the higher infant mortality rates.

the birth rate has basically nothing to do with a nations ability to support a growing population.
