Any tsunami video I look at barely looks like a 20 feet wave hitting shore. But wikipedia tells me there have been dozens of 100+ feet tsunamis even in the last 10 years.

Where would you stand to photograph a wall of water? I worked with an ex-sailor who said that he had been on a Bulk Carrier when hit by a hundred feet wave, and thought himself lucky the ship did not break in half and sink.
