Online banking deposit makes cashing forged checks a lot easier.
The trick tho, is for the forger to use an account where they’ve already gotten an atm card, also applied for online and send in the fake deposit, not overdraw the Mark’s account and use the atm to take the cash. (this is all true)
It’s actually just easier to forge credit card numbers. If Emily the Criminal can be believed
