why are you extraordinarily hungry when you smoke pot?

I am a pot head smoke; most of the evening after I get off work and Throughout the weekend.
I have never gotten the munchies. Not when consuming high volume or low volume of cannabis. But I recently learn I have adhd and wonder if the side effects or lack of munchies is related to that diagnosis. I know stimulants in general effect ADHD people different, is this just one of this instances?
