I don’t know how to explain this but when I see pictures of when people were younger vs older, it’s obvious which is which even without telltale signs.
I saw a picture of a celeb when they were younger and they had no real distinction other than a slimmer face but I can tell they were older. Like I don’t know why, it’s not like they have wrinkles, they have great skin, nothing that screams “Old” but it’s like something that they had when they were younger isn’t there.

You lose fat and skin elasticity in your face as you age. So an older person’s skin will sit differently on the bones compared to when they were younger. My cheeks are more sunken in now than 10 years ago, without any change in weight.
