why can’t limbs be transplanted to the needy just like heart, eyes etc ?

It is possible and it has been done. Hand transplant, double arm transplants, leg transplant. The reason it is not as common is because there is a lot of promise with prosthetics and they don’t have the immunosuppression and anti rejection complications that transplantation carries.

There was a girl a few years ago who got a face transplant. The story was both tragic and incredibly frustrating, and the final result was not great. It was essentially a mask and it looked like she only had control over her jaw underneath.
I hope she’s doing better and is living a fulfilling life.
