Why can’t we use nebulizer instead of injector in car engines? Wouldn’t that help with fuel economy?

Price and volume of fuel.

You need to inject your fuel in at a reasonable pressure and very very fast. And an injector atomizes the fuel quite well, makes it a thin shower and not a thick stream.
Injectors are quite simple in construction, tube, with a magnetic valve and small holes in the end
