Yesterday I was hiking in the mountains in Northern Colombia. A storm started, my arms were uncovered and the hairs were standing up (I have felt this previously while caught out in a storm). This time I was also experiencing a sensation of tiny needles all over my skin and as soon as I felt it the lightning would flash within seconds. What was happening?
