Beyond the women drink for free nights theres also bars that just wont let men in but will let women in.
Do women spend more? Or is it that they cause less drama? Or is it something else?

As many have said, unless its a sports bar, having lots of women increases the number of chances a guy has to get laid, and free drinks for women means the assumption the women will be more willing (because the gross ‘drunk equals yes’ expectation).
I (F45) was security in my 20’s and would monitor the line to turn away any group that I thought would be a problem later on- they were already too drunk to serve, they wanted in to ‘have a chat’ (i.e. start a fight) with a group they knew were already in the bar, they had problems with personal space (i.e. groping) and using racist language. These groups were not always men, but I can easily see how an observer would see only men getting turned away.
