Why do breasts become shinier, for lack of a better word, after breast augmentation surgery?

I don’t know if this is a widely-known fact, but its fairly easy to tell when a person has had breast augmentation surgery because the breasts have a brighter, shinier appearance that interacts with light differently than the rest of the skin. I know for a fact that I’m not just fixating on big breasts because I looked it up and confirmed that, yes, this does happen.

But nothing about why. So why?

The skin is tight. Tight skin doesn’t show texture and it’s more reflective.

Same goes for facial skin after face lifts.
