From my restaurant management experience:

Thursday is the best for some reason.

Fri, Sat, and Sunday are as good as you expect but Thursday still beats them somehow.

Monday is the day no one is properly prepared for cuz it’s the first day back to work so it also brings in a good amount of customers looking for carry out orders.

Tuesday and Wednesday suck equally in my experience but yeah I suppose Wednesday seems to be a bit better than Tuesday.

So all-in-all, you wanna give discounts on Tuesday cuz it’ll bring in more customers. Yes, you have to cut into your profit margin a bit but it’s worth it since the order volume goes up significantly.

In about a decade or so, I expect deals to move to Wednesday. Basically every 20-25 years businesses will reassess their sales and designate new days for deals.
