I saved up and got a nice, fluffy cat tree for my 2 cats but they still opt to sleep in a cardboard scratcher. It really confuses my brain. How is the rough texture comfy for them?

You can make your cat tree more appealing by sprinkling some catnip on it and putting it near a window so they can watch kitty tv while perched upon high.
