Why do Device Batteries drain?
In: 0
Batteries store energy in cells. There is a potential difference (think potential energy) between each side of the cell. That difference can “push” electrons (whether or not they actually really move is debated) around a circuit. As some energy leaves chemical reactions happen to replace it. Eventually the reactions slow and the potential drops thus the battery “drains.”
Do you mean why do the batteries have less charge in them or why do their capacities to hold charge get lower?
