Why do even top spec computers crash

The problem is generally not with the hardware, it is with the OS or the software which is running on it – those are the things that crash.
Because it all comes down to coding and since people aren’t perfect and cannot foresee how any given piece of software will be used among endless scenarios, there will always be some situation that results in a computer crashing.
This is like asking why we still have car crashes even with top spec cars: because they’re still being driven by humans.
