Seen many videos of fast cars (mustangs especially lol) accelerating in a straight line and then losing control and going into the curb/crowd. What would cause it to do that when the wheels are just pointed straight ahead?
How does one prevent or control this?

The force that is exerted on the road from the wheels is greater than the amount of grip between the tire and the road. Wheel spin happens when the force is greater (more throttle) or when the grip is less (ice) or both.
