why do food manufacturing companies put “serving suggestion” beneath the photos of the product on the packaging?

It’s seems a little redundant to have to explain that my PLAIN Eggo waffles don’t come with blueberries and raspberries on them.

Otherwise people would sue the company over not included berries. That’s pretty much the reason for nearly all obvious notes on products.
