Every time it rains, frogs cover the road. It’s not just one or two but a lot of them. I’m not sure if it’s just where I live or if it’s common in other places as well.

Rain cause eathworms to come to the surface (food) and creates a cool and moist enviroment, these are perfect conditions for Frogs whihc they often use for breeding. And since Frogs often return to the same bodies of water in which they were born, you see this purspseful mass migrartion with our roads in the way.
Btw Frogs can sense the upcoming rain (humidity in the air) and will start to become louder just before it (to attract mates)
That makes perfect sense! I didn’t realize it was so simple. Lol
Frogs are amphibians, which means their skin isn’t a watertight fortress like yours and they’re prone to drying out if they get caught out in the sun for long periods of time.
So like worms, they’re taking advantage of the wet conditions to cover some distance and get past areas they normally wouldn’t be able to cross (like hot pavement) in sunny weather.
