Why do Hockey and Basketball teams cram themselves into such small spaces during a game; while Baseball and Football teams have such large areas for the teams?

Size of the playing field, vs potential price of tickets for particular seats.
Football is a lot easier to watch a little removed from the game, the field is relatively large so the closer you are the harder it is to see the entire thing. Same with Soccer.
Hockey is a fast close sport so seats right next to the rink are more coveted while almost all the action of a baseball game is at home plate.
