Why do low voice echo more?

Question

I was singing in the shower and I realized my low notes echoed and my high notes barely echoed at all. Is it just me and my shower or is it a physical phenomenon?

wave propagation (sound is waves) of low frequencies is better

basically the lower the frequency the less stuff in the way affects it

this is the same reason you can hear the bass of the obnoxious music in the car next to you instead of the entire music they are playing
