Why do males have nipples?

I would like a rather scientific reason as to why males have nipples in a simple manner, thanks.

Nipples are formed before the embryo becomes male or female. We are all created with the same genetic “blueprint” which happens to include nipples. Not sure if its technically correct to say this, but we basically all start out as female. When the Y chromosome kicks in, theres no reason to remove the nipples, so it kinda just exists with no purpose
