Until recently I thought the concept of the pee shiver was a universally accepted fact. However, in a recent conversation with my wife, I realized that she has never heard of this before. I have had the idea confirmed by multiple of my guy friends that have also get shivers from time to time while they pee. Someone please eli5 so I can relay the information on to my wife.

As a woman I get this, too. Is it because your muscles are constantly keeping it held in and when that muscle holding it in finally relaxes you get that “relief” moment in your body? I’m not a scientist or doctor, I’m just guessing.
