Why do missiles have fins, while modern space rockets don’t?

Fins only work if there is friction. fins exist entirely to self-correct in the atmosphere, like fletching on an arrow. in space/ anywhere with no atmosphere, we use something called RCS (reaction control systems) that we use to correct trajectories/angles.
