If you’re currently dealing with a canker sore, my remedy is to place a large pinch (day, half a US teaspoon) of powdered alum on the sore. It will burn/sting briefly. Let it sit there (tilt your head so it doesn’t get wet too quickly from your saliva) until the burning subsides, occasionally multiple treatments are necessary. A buddy of mine swears by rinsing with hydrogen peroxide as a method to quickly clear up canker sores. Anyway, been bothered by them all my life, wanted to pass on that suggestion, in case it helps.
