The name is pretty understandable as it is one of the last thing that needs to be decided. It is not uncommon for movies to change their name even after they have been edited and even shown to test audiences. You do not want to build hype around a movie just to release it under a better name. But as far as the script and cast goes there is a few reasons to keep it secret. Firstly a lot of scripts have twists in them and people do not want to know these spoilers before they see the movie for the first time. And sometimes these twists are intentionally misleading the audience. For example people might not want to see your movie if they found out from an article that the famous actor on the poster were actually just there for half a day of filming and appears in a total of two scenes.
Another reason to keep the details secret is so that other studios is not steeling your idea and release a movie before you that will play on a lot of the hype you built up. This is actually quite common and one of the reasons why you might see two similar movies by two studios being released very close to each other.
