Can you ever truly do anything exactly the same more than once?

Seems subjective. I’d say they feel the same, but I don’t have two back to back to compare.

Considering orgasms are both a physical and neurological – I’d say differences in your emotions, surrounding, and “set up” might impact it

Some of it can be from the level of dopamine left over from your last adventure. If you’re consistently doing it, it may mean that your levels of dopamine have dropped since the last time. Similar to using ecstasy from what I’ve been told, you need to recharge your batteries every so often if you expect the same kind of affect. As others have said though, the physical side of it is more consistent than the emotional/neurological components. A good orgasm will typically be more of a mental than physical event for various reasons, many of which can create addictions (in particular, the novelty of said event, and chasing that same level of intensity)
