: Why do our eyes or one eye feel like they are in pain from the inside during having the gradual flu/cold? whats the connection and did anyone else experience this? i know i am now with ice pick headaches that comes and goes every few days.

The pain comes from inflamation of the mucous membranes in your nasal sinuses which are right behind and above each eye.
